Then, once we set the engagement terms, we begin creating teaser documents, prospect qualification processes and procedures, and aggregating approved follow up documents for initial evaluation. Once this is completed, or sooner, we begin the process of sourcing prospects.
Many times the businesses sought are currently not listed for sale in the market. Consequently, a proactive search and contact effort is required. That is the essence of what is often needed. We begin sourcing prospects within the targeted industry, segment, size and profitability. When approved we begin confidentially contacting each, tracking responses, communicating and ultimately engaging on behalf of our client.
We then act as an intermediary as requested facilitating conferences, meeting, document exchange, negotiating, advising on deal terms and facilitating the close.
